Where? In the most beautiful Polish seaside resort ‑
安inouj軼ie
For who? For inhabitants and tourists staying in
安inouj軼ie, inhabitants and tourists staying in the region, including the
German part of the island
of Uznam (Usedom).
Purpose?
- expanding the
range of tourist attractions in the town and region, by organising an
event that corresponds to the marine character of the region, increasing
the region's competitiveness,
- creating an
event aimed at different age groups (family tourism),
- promoting the
maritime tradition and culture, represented by the sea shanties and the
XXVII Floating Sea Song Festival "WIATRAK", the chance to cruise on a
sailing ship and to get to know how the vessels work,
- reinforcing the position of 安inouj軼ie as a
sailing destination, open to cooperation with other towns located in the
Baltic region which wish to cultivate the sailing traditions,
- integrating
the generations by means of active leisure and maritime adventures,
- promoting
安inouj軼ie as "the window on the world" that has ideal natural resources
and well developed infrastructure for maritime tourism.
